Office of the Vice Chancellor & Dean
Welcome to Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC)!
Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) is a unique and special place. It is located in Columbus, Indiana, known for a remarkable collection of modern architecture and a beautiful downtown. The American Institute of Architects has ranked Columbus sixth in the nation for architectural innovation and design, right behind Chicago, New York City, Boston, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
Closely affiliated with Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), IUPUC fulfills your academic aspirations by offering access to the resources of two Big Ten schools, while providing the features and personal touch of a small college.
At IUPUC, I promise you will find small class sizes, attentive service, a dynamic campus environment, and an academic experience that is exceptional. With an offering of bachelor’s and master’s degrees that meet the needs of today’s employers, IUPUC is a great choice for you and all students in the Columbus, Indiana area, the south central Indiana region, and beyond.
With your choice, you’ll find opportunities for study that are rigorous and gratifying, guided by highly qualified faculty and staff who are dedicated to your development of communication and thinking skills, your acquisition of career-building knowledge, and most importantly, your success. Plus, you’ll work with skilled and caring professional academic advisors on an individualized plan to reach your academic and career goals.
Your individualized plan will include a degree program from IUPUC or IUPUI with all or at least most courses being offered in Columbus. This partnership allows us to offer you access to a broad range of undergraduate degree programs - business, communication studies, elementary education, English, general studies, mechanical engineering, nursing, psychology and sociology. You can also continue your studies toward a graduate degree in our Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling programs.
I am excited that you are taking the time to learn more about the campus. There is great pride here in being a welcoming campus that celebrates human differences and embraces the uniqueness of each individual. It is a place where you and all students will feel supported while being challenged to realize your potential.
If you are a prospective student, or parent, I invite you to visit our campus to see for yourself if IUPUC is your campus. In the meantime, please take a few minutes to browse through our website and get to know us a little better. I think you may be surprised at what you discover.
