  • The CIA World Factbook: Provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 266 world entities.
  • Gale Virtual Reference Library : database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
  • InfoPlease: A comprehensive reference source, loaded with statistics, facts, and historical records.
  • STATS Indiana: A gateway for statistics about Indiana.
  • USA.gov Data and Statistics: A gateway for data and statistics compiled by and about U.S. government entities.

Art & Images

  • ArtSTOR: ARTstor provides curated collections of art images and associated data for noncommercial and scholarly, nonprofit educational use.
  • Catalog of Art Museum Images Online (CAMIO-OCLC): OCLC's Catalog of Art Museum Images Online is a growing online collection documenting works of art from around the world, representing the collections of prominent museums. CAMIO highlights the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms.
  • Oxford Art Online: Oxford Art Online (formerly known as Grove Art Online) provides web access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art with quarterly additions of new material and updates to the text, plus extensive image links and all the sophisticated search advantages possible with an online reference source.

  • Biography and Genealogy Master Index: Provides biographical information on over 13 million people, from the beginning of time through present day.
  • Biography.com: A product of A&E Television Network and the Biography Channel.
  • Biography in Context: Merges traditional reference resource content with periodicals and multimedia and allows users to search for people based on name, occupation, nationality, ethnicity, birth/death dates and places, or gender as well as keyword and full text.

Career & Education

  • CollegeSource: CollegeSource Online is a database of 65,166 digital college catalogs, institution profiles, transcript keys, and other critical resources.
  • Indiana Department of Workforce Development: Access information about job training and employment opportunities with the state of Indiana, as well as workforce and economic data.
  • National Center for Education Statistics (NCES): is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education.
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook: The profiles featured cover hundreds of occupations and describe What They Do, Work Environment, How to Become One, Pay, and more. Each profile also includes BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) employment projections for the 2010–20 decade.
  • Testing and Education Resource Center: This database allows users to search thousands of college and graduate school entries, identify scholarships, take online practice tests for GRE, GMAT,TOEFL, SAT, PRAXIS, etc., and to use test prep e-books.

  • Anywho: AnyWho provides a free online white pages directory where you can find people by their name and address, or you can do a reverse lookup by phone number.
  • Associations Unlimited: The premier source for associations, use this database to locate approximately 460,000 international and U.S. national, regional, state, and local nonprofit membership organizations in all fields, including IRS data on U.S. 501(c) nonprofit organizations. The database is also used to monitor association trends; identify related associations; networking and making professional contacts; marketing to associations, their members, and markets.
  • Congressional Directory: Provides short biographies and contact information for each member of the Senate and House, listed by state or district.
  • Gale Directory Library: Authoritative directories on companies, publishers, associations, and more.
