MBA Community Partner Award
The MBA Community Partner Award recognizes those organizations and individuals who have been exceptionally engaged with the Indiana University MBA program in Columbus and with IUPUC as a university.
It makes public our appreciation for exceptional support of, and contribution to, the vision of graduate business education that drives the MBA program at IUPUC.
- The award may be given to an individual, company, or organization.
- The recipient should embrace a general management focus of the program, an integrated pedagogy, community engagement, diversity, and the kind of boldness that is consistent with the culture of Columbus.
The 2016 recipient of the Outstanding MBA Community Partner Award was Elwood Staffing. In addition to being a community advocate of the MBA Program at IUPUC, Elwood Staffing has facilitated the educational growth of our students through programmatic partnerships, noted Dr. Lauren Burch, director of the MBA program and assistant professor of marketing at IUPUC. She added that their willingness to participate in the entrepreneurial curriculum, and encouragement of creative thinking to address real-world business scenarios has been invaluable to our students' growth and future success.
Mr. Mark Elwood, CEO of Elwood Staffing, and Mr. Michael Elwood, President of Elwood Professional, accepted the Community Partner Award.
