Your First Year at IUPUC
Your first year of college is a time when you will meet new people, live and learn in a new community, and discover more about who you are. At IUPUC, we are committed to making this a smooth transition. Our goal is to assist new students as they develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally. There are many options available for first year students such as engaging in research projects with faculty mentors, participating in study abroad trips, joining clubs and organizations, and interacting in service learning projects.
First year students can also participate in student leadership programs, compete in club sports and intramurals, and serve in the student government association. Being involved in activities increases your ability to stay connected with the university and build lifelong connections.
