Admission to the Honors Program
The Honors Program at IUPUC is an opportunity for highly motivated, creative undergraduate students to reach their academic potential, no matter what their personal or professional goals may be.
- Students who have completed a rigorous program of study in high school who maintained a GPA of 3.75 or better, have an ACT composite score of 28, or an SAT critical reading and math combined score of 1250 or higher are automatically invited to join the Honors Program once admitted to IUPUC.
- Students in good standing as part of an Honors Program at a previous institution may apply for admission to the Honors Program at IUPUC. With the approval of the Honors Program director, transfer students may apply previously earned honors credits toward the total 24 honors credits required for the IUPUC program.
- Transfer students who were not previously in an Honors Program may also apply for admission if they meet the same criteria as continuing IUPUC students.
- IUPUC students who do not meet the incoming freshmen admission requirements can still be part of the Honors Program. You must have completed a minimum of 12 non-remedial credit hours with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or better and have at least 24 credit hours and two academic years (4 semesters) left before graduation.
A new cohort of students enters the Honors Program each fall semester. Deadline for program admission is June 1. If you believe you meet the admission criteria and have not received an invitation, please contact the Honors Program Director.
