Admission to the Honors Program
The Honors Program at IUPUC is an opportunity for highly motivated, creative undergraduate students to reach their academic potential, no matter what their personal or professional goals may be.
Admitted IUPUC students will automatically be invited to join the Honors Program if they meet the following academic criteria:
- A cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 (weighted)
- An ACT composite score of 28 or higher, or an SAT score of 1250 or higher (taken prior to March 2016, combining SAT critical reading and math scores), or an SAT score of 1320 or higher (taken March 2016 or later, combining evidence-based reading/writing and math scores)
Continuing and Transfer Students
- IUPUC students who do not meet the incoming freshmen admission requirements can still be part of the Honors Program. You must have completed a minimum of 12 non-remedial credit hours with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or better and have at least 24 credit hours and two academic years (4 semesters) left before graduation.
A new cohort of students enters the Honors Program each fall semester. Deadline for program admission is June 1. If you believe you meet the admission criteria and have not received an invitation, please contact the Honors Program Director.
