Division of Education

The Division of Education at IUPUC prepares and recommends for professional licensure exemplary K-6 teachers. It has a growing legacy of alumni, with increasing numbers of IUPUC graduates serving as professional educators in the south central region of Indiana. Strong collaboration with community agencies, partner schools, and fellow post-secondary institutions provides a depth of professional experiences for IUPUC education majors and teacher candidates.

Our students complete an undergraduate program in K-6 Elementary Education and have the opportunity to also prepare for a dual K-6 license in Exceptional Needs or a dual K-6 license in English as a New Language. We work with the Center for Teaching and Learning to provide professional development opportunities for classroom teachers, such as the Mentor Teacher Program.

For additional program information and admission application, please visit the Education Homepage.
