Division of Nursing
The Division of Nursing at IUPUC, encompasses nursing and health, physical education and recreation courses. Among the smallest divisions on campus, students benefit from direct interaction and support from a small cohort of full and part time faculty.
The goal of the division of nursing is:
- to provide access to Indiana University School of Nursing,
- to provide a community of learning that addresses society's need for caring and scientifically prepared nurse professionals, and
- to meet society's need for a nurse at different educational levels prepared to be effective in a range of practice settings,
- to graduate students who are adequately prepared to take and pass the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensing Exam (NCLEX-RN), as well as,
- to provide a "home" for allied health courses.
