TCEM and F N courses are made available at IUPUC through the Department of Tourism, Conventions & Event Management at IUPUI. All TCEM and F N courses at IUPUC are administered online in Oncourse (http://oncourse.iu.edu).
Exams for TCEM and F N courses are given live at the IUPUC campus. Students taking TCEM and F N courses may need to occasionally make special arrangements with work, family, etc. in order to take tests during scheduled times. Exact test days will be listed in the course syllabus, which is available in Oncourse on the first day of classes. Tests will be administered at IUPUC on the same days as they are administered at IUPUI; however, the times may vary. During the first week of classes, students enrolled in TCEM and F N courses will be notified via University e-mail of the times that tests may be taken on the IUPUC campus. Any questions or concerns re: testing for TCEM and F N courses may be directed to Kristy Green at klrush
iupuc.edu, (812) 348-7271.
What to do if you are taking a TCEM or F N course at IUPUC:
- Begin checking Oncourse a few days before classes begin. By the first day of classes, you should see two Oncourse links for your class (one for CO; the other for IN). Your class will be taught through the IN link.
- If you do not see the IN link for your course by the first day of classes, contact Kristy Green immediately.
- All assignments and course materials (excluding tests) will be submitted electronically through Oncourse. If you are unsure whether an assignment posted properly, re-submit it to be sure it went through. Notify the instructor immediately if you have questions, concerns, or any type of technical difficulties—your e-mail/voice mail can be used to document the exact date and time the issue occurred and will show that you attempted to contact the instructor right away.
- See information above re: how tests are administered for these courses.
If you are ever unable to contact your instructor or need additional support, contact Kristy Green on the IUPUC campus: klrush
iupuc.edu or (812) 348-7271.
