Spanish and ASL Tutoring
Did you know there are approximately 320 million Spanish speakers in the world, that Spanish is the fourth-most spoken language on the planet, and the U.S. is the fifth-largest Spanish-speaking country in the world? Or that American Sign Language (ASL) is the number one language used by the deaf and hearing-impaired in North America?
The ability to read and speak Spanish can make you more attractive in a competitive employment market. The ability to master and interpret ASL also makes you very employable in professional, educational, and psychological settings.
The ARC's ASL tutor is Sabrina Schipper. She is available for walk-in tutoring at the following times during the Spring 2016 semester:
- Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesdays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursdays from Noon to 2 p.m.
The ARC is not offering Spanish tutoring in Spring 2016.
