Irish Gaelic

Learn the ancestral tongue of 46 million Americans with our noncredit Irish Gaelic classes. Two eight-week, Wednesday evening classes—both beginning May 15 and ending July 10—will provide an introduction to Irish culture and language.

Classes

Irish Gaelic is the official language of the Republic of Ireland. Achieve an understanding of Ireland’s rich heritage while developing conversation skills, learning Gaelic vocabulary, and discovering ways to interact with an increasing number of Gaeilgeori (Irish speakers) in the U.S.

Introduction to Irish Gaelic

If you are new to the Irish Gaelic language, this noncredit introductory course will help you get started.

  • Classes begin May 15 and end July 10
  • Time: Wednesdays from 6 to 7:15 p.m.
  • Cost: $60 which includes all class materials.

Conversational Irish Gaelic

If you have some understanding of the language, this noncredit course will expand your knowledge.

  • Classes begin May 15 and end July 10
  • Time: Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.
  • Cost: $60 which includes all class materials.
