Center for Teaching & Learning

At the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at IUPUC, our mission is to support learners of all ages and those who teach them.

As a team, our staff are available to counsel and support P-20 faculty, staff, and educators throughout the region on a variety of projects related to education, teaching and learning. We are available to consult on projects requiring needs assessments, programming ideas, emerging educational research and best practices, collaboration with community educational partners, and more.

Our staff specialize in:

  • Best practices for integrating technology in teaching and learning
  • Academic support and mentoring programs for students
  • Resource development to enhance the educational environment
  • Professional development training and workshops for faculty, instructors, and staff who educate students of all ages

AmeriCorps Partnership

AmeriCorps is a national service program coordinated locally by United Way of Bartholomew County. Volunteer resource managers are trained and placed with local not-for-profit organizations, including IUPUC. The AmeriCorps member at CTL supports volunteers for such initiatives as Campus Compact, summer youth camps, student internships, and scholarship volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Vicki Bartlett at 812.314.8756.

Technology Training & Resources

University Information Technology Services (UITS) offers a variety of IT training opportunities, including seminars, workshops, user groups, instructor-led training, and online professional development workshops for all IU faculty, staff, and students.
