The university communicates with students through both the U.S. Postal Service and e-mail. It is
important that you update your contact information as soon as you have any change in your address or
phone number. Be sure to also check Oncourse for mail from your
instructors.
Your current and permanent addresses are maintained by the Office of the Registrar. Though most IUPUC
students use the same address for both, some students prefer to have a second (permanent) address on
record, often that of a parent. IUPUC's mailings are sent to the current address with the exception of
the transcript provided upon graduation which is mailed to the permanent address. Your permanent address
is the address displayed on any transcript or enrollment certification.
You may change your address in several ways:
1. Through the world wide web by using OneStart.
To use the Address Change feature of the Student (confidential) version of OneStart, you must have
valid student identification and personal identification numbers. When you select the Change Address
feature, your current and permanent addresses as they are stored by the Office of the Registrar will be
displayed on the screen.
To update one of the addresses, select the appropriate button below the address to be changed. The
system will help you through the process.
2. You may also contact us through surface or e-mail. Be sure to include your name and student number.
