Driving Directions to Columbus North High School
Driving from the north on I-65 to Columbus North High School, 1400 25th Street:
Leave I-65 at the Columbus/Taylorsville exit (Exit 76B). Go south on U.S. 31 to the Columbus city limits.
Continue on U.S. 31 through the city limits to the intersection of U.S. 31 and Home Avenue. Turn right (south)
onto Home Avenue. Continue south on Home Avenue for approximately two blocks. The high school will be on your
left hand side. Turn left into the parking lot behind the school building (north side of building). Please entire
through the Stearman Athletic Complex entrance, to the north of the building.
Driving from the south on I-65 to Columbus North High School, 1400 25th Street:
Leave I-65 at the Columbus exit (Exit 68). This is the last Columbus exit. Turn left onto State Road 46 East.
Enter Columbus via S.R. 46 East on the new bridge that comes into town, flowing onto 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd
Street (which will change names to Hawcreek Boulevard and again to Central Avenue). Continue driving north on Central
Avenue. You will pass the larger intersection of 17th Street before you get to 25th Street where you will turn left.
Continue driving on 25th Street until you come to intersection of 25th Street and Home Avenue. Turn right onto Home Avenue.
The high school will be on your right. Turn right into the parking lot behind the school building (north side of building).
Please enter through the Stearman Athletic Complex entrance, to the north of the building.
Driving from Bloomington to Columbus North High School, 1400 25th Street:
Follow State Road 46 East from Bloomington through Nashville to Columbus. Enter Columbus via S.R. 46 East on the new bridge
that comes into town, flowing onto 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd Street (which will change names to Hawcreek Boulevard and again
to Central Avenue). Continue driving north on Central Avenue. You will pass the larger intersection of 17th Street before you
get to 25th Street where you will turn left. Continue driving on 25th Street (you will pass the high school on your right hand
side) until you come to intersection of 25th Street and Home Avenue. Turn right onto Home Avenue. The high school will be on your
right. Turn right into the parking lot behind the school building (north side of building). Please enter through the Stearman Athletic
Complex entrance, to the north of the building.
Driving from the east on I-74 to Columbus North High School, 1400 25th Street:
Exit at Greensburg (Exit 134A) heading south on State Road 3. State Road 3 becomes State Road 46. You will travel approximately
26 miles to the intersection of S.R. 46 and S.R. 9. When you reach the intersection, continue traveling straight at the 4-way stop.
DO NOT TURN LEFT! Once you reach the Columbus city limits, you will be traveling on 25th Street. Continue driving west on 25th Street
to Home Avenue. Turn right onto Home Avenue. The high school will be on your right. Turn right into the parking lot behind the school
building (north side of building). Please enter through the Stearman Athletic Complex entrance, to the north of the building.
