Title IV Authorization

If you are receiving financial aid or loans, your funds are deposited into your bursar account approximately 10 days before classes start. These funds are used to pay for your tuition and direct fees.

Any additional charges on your account such as your parking permit, new student enrollment fee, prior term charges, late schedule change fees, etc., must be paid directly by you unless you give IUPUC authorization to use your financial aid or loans for these charges.

By filling out a Title IV authorization, you allow IUPUC to use your financial aid to pay for your enrollment fees, parking, and any other charges. This eliminates you having to make additional payments to pay the rest of your bill. While filing a Title IV is not mandatory, it helps ensure your bill is paid in full and on-time, avoiding late fees and/or registration holds.
