Healthy Campus Committee
Do you want to maintain or improve your health and wellness? The Healthy Campus Committee at IUPUC can assist.
The Healthy Campus Committee is composed of staff and faculty working together to create awareness, involvement, and support for healthy lifestyles. The group explores ways to provide the campus community with access to and information about important topics that can assist you in maintaining personal wellness, including:
- Healthy food options and nutrition information
- Physical activity and exercise
- Biometric screenings
- Flu shots
- Nutrition information
- Private lactation area
- Workplace initiatives and surveys on topics related to health and wellness
For the past few years, the university has partnered with REACH, a Columbus-based community initiative funded by a Department of Health & Human Services Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) grant. Through this partnership, members of the campus community take part in a variety of activities in the workplace and the community, including an annual health fair.
