Are you a junior or senior at IUPUC? Do you have a GPA of 2.5 or higher? Be part of IUPUC's 2015 Homecoming Court! Nominations are now being accepted. Applications are due at 5 p.m. January 30. Include your resume, photo, cover page, spring class schedule, and answers to essay questions. Members of the court will be chosen based on a personal interview, presentation style, and school spirit. Download the application form.

  

Homecoming Week 2015

Alumni, students, faculty, and staff: Mark your calendars and plan to attend the second annual IUPUC Homecoming Week: February 19-21, 2015. Show your school spirit and campus pride! Download the Homecoming 2015 flier to print and share with friends.

Thursday, February 19: Indoor Carnival and Comedy Show

  • Enjoy free food, a commemorative photo keychain, cd, t-shirts, and more from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Columbus Learning Center. Activities will include:
    • You can participate in free henna art, caricature artist, carnival games, a bounce house, and build a lion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Get your giggles and grins on with a free comedy show featuring one nationally recognized performer: Damon Williams
  • Students get VIP entry (student ID required) beginning at 6:00 p.m. General admission for alumni, faculty, staff, and the general public will begin at 6:30 p.m.
  • Free show begins at 7 p.m. in LC Room 1000 (Lecture Hall & Auditorium) in the Columbus Learning Center.

Friday, February 20: Homecoming Brunch, Community Service, and Homecoming Dance

  • Students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to a free brunch which is co-sponsored by the IUPUC Alumni Association to celebrate school spirit and comradery. Meet some of our featured alumni panelist, 2015 Homecoming Court, basketball players, and cheerleaders. You must register for the brunch by Friday, Feb. 13. The brunch will be held in the Columbus Learning Center from 11:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the Homecoming Community Service Day. View the list of community service projects and register now. Once you choose a project, please meet promptly at the site location and wear your IUPUC gear. Each site will have a site leader (IUPUC faculty and/or staff member) that will serve as a guide throughout the service learning experience.
  • Students are invited to IUPUC first Homecoming Dance for a night of fun, dancing, and music. Students should dress for the occasion. Free food, games, and a dance-off will be awaiting your interaction. The homecoming dance will be held in LC Student Commons from 9-11 p.m.

Saturday, February 21: Homecoming Game & Homecoming King/ Queen Crowning

  • Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the general public are invited to the IUPUC Homecoming Basketball Game where IUPUC will play UK at 6 p.m.
  • The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during the half-time show of the game. We will also acknowledge the Recognized Student Organization Spirit Award.
  • Location: Foundation For Youth, 405 Hope Avenue, Columbus, IN.
  • Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and children 12 and under are free.
