Monday, February 10: Service Day

  • Donate canned goods of all types for IUPUC’s Canstruction team to use in the sixth annual Canstruction Competition sponsored by the United Way of Bartholomew County at Fair Oaks Mall on February 15. The IUPUC team will use engineering and aesthetic creativity to build a large, three-dimensional sculpture from the cans collected and compete against other local teams. All food will be donated to local food pantries after the event. Deliver donations to Pam Weiss, AmeriCorps volunteer resource coordinator, in LC Room 1400 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Contact pjweiss@iupuc.edu for information.
  • Donate your time to benefit the community. Local nonprofit organizations are invited to provide on-campus service projects like labeling and stuffing envelopes for direct mail campaigns. Nonprofits who need assistance can contact Sandra Miles at smiles3@iupuc.edu or 812.375.7525.
