Learn more about the ancestral tongue of 46 million Americans by registering for noncredit Irish Gaelic classes at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC).
Two eight-week Wednesday evening classes, both beginning May 15 and continuing through July 10, will be offered.
Irish Gaelic is the official language of the Republic of Ireland. Participants in these classes will achieve an understanding of Ireland’s rich heritage while developing conversation skills and learning Gaelic vocabulary. They will also learn about opportunities to interact with an increasing number of Gaeilgeori (Irish speakers) in the U.S.
