Welcome to the Center for Teaching and Learning

At the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC), our mission is to support learners of all ages and those who teach them.

CTL services and areas of focus

As a team, CTL staff are available to counsel and support P-20 faculty, staff, and educators throughout the region on a variety of projects related to education, teaching and learning. CTL is available to consult on projects requiring needs assessments, programming ideas, emerging educational research and best practices, collaboration with community educational partners, and more. Our staff specialize in:

  • Best practices for integrating technology in teaching and learning
  • Academic support and mentoring programs for students
  • Resource development to enhance the educational environment
  • Professional development training and workshops for faculty, instructors, and staff who educate students of all ages

AmeriCorps partnershipamericorpslogo

AmeriCorps is a national service program coordinated locally by United Way of Bartholomew County. Volunteer resource managers are trained and placed with local not-for-profit organizations. At the IUPUC Center for Teaching and Learning, the AmeriCorps member supports volunteers for such initiatives as Campus Compact, summer youth camps, student internships, and scholarship volunteer opportunities. Interested in volunteering?
