Pay Information
Year-To-Date balances on all earnings, wages, taxes, deductions, reductions and contributions are available through Onestart. This service has been created to address the issue of YTD balances only appearing on the most recent paycheck in self service.
The link to Year-To-Date balances is in the Onestart self service channel as View Payroll YTD Totals. It can be accessed by using the following instructions:
- Go to http://onestart.iu.edu
- Login using your University Network ID and password.
- Click on either the Staff Tools or the Faculty Tools tab at the top of the page.
- If Staff Tools or Faculty Tools is not visible, click on the More dropdown box to select those pages.
- Scroll down until you see the Employee Self-Service Box on the left side of the page.
- Under the Payroll header click the View Payroll YTD Totals link.
When you click the link, it will return the most recent YTD balances. The date can be changed to automatically retrieve historical YTD balances. Change the date by either entering the date in the designated format or by clicking on the calendar box to the right of the date and clicking on the desired date. Click Go to retrieve the YTD totals for the specified date.
If you have questions or problems accessing your YTD totals please contact the FMS Customer Service department at fmshelp indiana.edu or 812.855.0375.

About the TIME System
The Time Information Management Environment (TIME) is an automated system for collecting time and attendance data for Indiana University's biweekly-paid staff and electronically feeding this information into the payroll system at the end of each pay period. Employees, supervisors, and payroll processors use it to keep track of time worked, as well as schedules, and (optionally) business rules, such as lunch and break rules.
Using This Site
This site was created to support TIME users. It is the portal to documentation, reference materials, training, TIME classroom training sign-up, troubleshooting, FAQs, personalized support, and the TIME system itself. Use the navigation bar at left to explore the site.
Access the TIME System
