Welcome to the NSTA Student Chapter at IUPUC. Take a look at What's New in our web.
Our Mission:
- To promote the mission of the National Science Teacher Association;
- To acquaint pre-service teachers of science with the support resources available from the NSTA
- To provide additional professional development in science education in pre-service teachers;
- To acquaint pre-service teachers of science with others like themselves
at their university and across the United States and Canada.
What's New
- Our first meeting was help September 21, 2005. We will be meeting again the second
Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am. Please put this on your calendar.
- We have made the national scene. Check us out on the
www.NSTA.org.
The election of Officers was held in April 2005 and the officers are:
- President - Kyle Robbins
- President-Elect - Angla Kenpt
- Secretary/Treasurer - Jodi Stuehrenberg
- Past President - Kristen Schildmier
The next election will be April 2006. Please see any officer or Dr. Baird to nominate yourself or another for office.
Fundraising Information
- Funds raised will provide scholarships to those attending NSTA conferences and workshops.
