H1N1 Vaccine Information
The Bartholomew County Health Department will be coming to the Columbus Campus on
November 10, 2009 from 10 AM to 4PM to provide a H1N1 shot clinic for the Indiana
University-Purdue University Columbus, Ivy Tech, and Purdue College of Technology
students, faculty and staff. This clinic will be held in the Student Commons area
of the Learning Center. We have been allotted 900 vaccines for the Columbus
Campus. Anyone in line prior to 4PM will receive a vaccine unless supplies run out.
In order for individuals to receive the shots they must meet one of the following criteria:
- 6 mos. – 24 years of age
- 25 – 64 yrs of age with an underlying condition
- A caregiver of a child < 6 mos. of age
- First Responder ( This includes first-responders for your facilities on campus. They must be First Aid/CPR certified)
Pregnant women should consult their OB for this vaccine. The Health Department will not give them a shot at this clinic.
