Refund Checks
Occasionally a student may have a credit balance on their account. This could be due to dropping a class, paying too much, or receiving financial aid in excess of your tuition and fees.
Refund checks are mailed to the student unless the refund is from a Federal Parent PLUS Loan in which case they are mailed to the parent who applied for the loan.
If you dropped a class, receive financial aid, and are expecting a refund, it can take 10 business days or more to resolve whether or not you have to return any aid before you can receive a refund.
Get your refund faster by signing up on line for direct deposit via http://onestart.iu.edu.
