Title IV Authorization
If you are receiving financial aid or loans, your aid or loans are deposited into your bursar account approximately 10 days before classes start. These funds are used to pay for your tuition and direct fees, the remaining balance, if any, is promptly refunded to you.
Any additional charges on your account such as your parking permit, new student enrollment fee, prior term charges, late schedule change fees, etc., must be paid by you and not your financial aid.
By filling out a Title IV authorization you allow us to use your financial aid to pay for your enrollment fees, parking, and any other charges. This eliminates the unnecessary process of you having to cash or deposit your refund check and come back to us to pay the rest of your bill. While filing a Title IV is not mandatory, it helps ensure your bill is paid in full and on-time avoiding late fees and/or registration holds.
