These scholarships are administered by IUPUI and are offered to students at IUPUC. The application can be obtained at the following website:

Mary E. Burns Scholarship
Amount is up to $2,000
Deadline: May 15th
Students who graduated from Washington County High Schools are eligible to apply. Must have a FAFSA on file with Financial Aid to be eligible.

Robert E. Cavanaugh Memorial Scholarship
Amount is up to $2,000
Deadline: May 15th
Upper-class students of all majors who have graduated from an Indiana high school, who demonstrate leadership abilities and have some financial need are encouraged to apply. Must have at least 26 credits completed at IUPUC or IUPUI and a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

McCracken Assist Scholarship
Amount is up to $1,000
Deadline: May 15th
This scholarship was created to assist single, custodial parents at IUPUC or IUPUI pursuing their first undergraduate degree to help them meet educational goals by providing assistance with educational expenses. This scholarship is financial need-based, although academic progress and potential are considered as well. Students must have applied for financial aid and must have financial need as determined by the FAFSA and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and/or permanent residents who are also Indiana residents. To be eligible, applicants must have completed at least 9 credit hours at IUPUC or IUPUI with a minimum 2.75 GPA within the last year. Transfer students with 24 credit hours and at least a 3.0 GPA within the past year may also apply.

Richard Rapala Scholarship
Amount is up to $1,000
Deadline: May 15th
For continuing cyto-technology, clinical laboratory science, medical technology majors and nursing (must be admitted to the program). Criteria based on academic performance and financial need. FAFSA required.

Adult Outstanding Scholarship
Amount is up to $1,000
Deadline: May 15th
Motivated adult (30+) returning students with at least 12 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 3.3 in all courses since returning, who are working towards their first baccalaureate degree.

IUPUI Outstanding GED Scholarship
Amount is $1,500 annually renewable for 2 years
Deadline: April 1st
Students who achieve an average standard score of 650 or higher on the GED Test and are unconditionally admitted to IUPUI or IUPUC are eligible to receive this scholarship (no separate application required). Renewable with maintenance of a minimum 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment.

Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award
Amount is $2,000
Deadline: May 15th
This leadership award was established to recognize students who have demonstrated leadership abilities and an appreciation of basic American values through a record of achievement in community services or service to IUPUC. Juniors and seniors with a 3.5 GPA in academic work are eligible to apply. Preference is given to students in Liberal Arts, Science, and Business.

Central Indiana Chapter of the IUAA Scholarship
Amount is $1,000
Deadline: March 17, 2008
The Central Indiana Chapter of the IU Alumni Association created a scholarship program
to recognize the accomplishments and financial need of Chapter area residents. Applicants must reside in Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks or Hancock County and be attending an Indiana University Campus the following semester.
