Admission to the Honors Program
The Honors Program at IUPUC is an opportunity for highly motivated, creative students to reach their academic protential, no matter what their personal or professional goals may be.
- Students who have completed a rigorous program of study in high school who maintained a GPA of 3.75 or better, have an ACT composite score of 28, or an SAT critical reading and math combined score of 1250 or higher are automatically invited to join the Honors Program when admitted to IUPUC.
- Students in good standing as part of an Honors Program at a previous institution may apply for admission to the Honors Program at IUPUC. Transfer students who were not previously in an Honors Program may also apply for admission if they meet the same criteria for continuing IUPUC students.
- Transfer students admitted to the IUPUC Honors Program are expected to complete 24 honors credits, including ENG-W270 (or its equivalent) and an honors experience. Transfer students may, with the approval of the Honors Program director, apply previously earned honors credits toward the total of 24 honors credits.
- Continuing IUPUC students who do not meet incoming freshmen requirements may complete 12 credits or more of non-remedial coursework after matriculation with a GPA of 3.5 or better to be eligible for admission to the program.
