Intercampus Transfer

Transfer Process

The first step is to contact our Office of Recruitment & Admissions. Although not required, we recommend you schedule an appointment so we can provide the best possible service. Call 812.348.7390, e-mail, or stop by the Student Services Desk located in CC Room 156.

Whether you are a student at another Indiana University campus or another institution and want to take a few summer classes at IUPUC—or if you are interested in permanently transferring to our Columbus campus to complete your degree program—contact the Office of Recruitment & Admissions.

Depending on your educational and career goals, review our list of degree programs to determine if one of them is a good fit for you. Then contact us as soon as possible. We can help you determine the best course of study and time to make the switch! An admissions counselor can provide you with more specifics as they relate to you and your educational goals.

IUPUC follows Indiana University guidelines and policies for admitting transfer students. In general, must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher to be eligible for a permanent transfer; if your GPA is less than 2.0, you may be eligible for temporary admission. In many cases, you may be admitted to IUPUC as a University College student.
