Health services professionals develop, implement, manage, and administer programs, services, and policies that protect human health, promote wellness and healthy lifestyles, prevent disease, and deliver medical care. In this concentration you will explore core areas and the topics required to reach strategic goals and effectively manage human and financial resources in the health services industry.
The HSA concentration will qualify you for immediate careers in health-related positions like billing analyst, budget and reimbursement analyst, group practice manager, home health care consultant, long-term care administrator, hospital administration, finance, or marketing specialist, human resources specialist, insurance sales and claims, medical staffing coordinator, pharmaceutical sales representative, physician recruiter, or provider relations representative.

To earn an Indiana University Bachelor of Science in Business with a health services administration concentration, you will complete 120 credit hours of coursework. Most courses are 3 credit hours each but some vary. Of the total credit hours for the health services administration concentration, 36 come from general education courses, 39 from core business courses, 27 are elective credit hours, and 18 are from upper level health services administration courses.
