Conference for Undergraduate Research in Psychology

We invite you to the second annual Conference for Undergraduate Research in Psychology (CURP) at IUPUC in Columbus, Indiana where undergraduate psychology students and their faculty mentors will come from across the region to share their completed and in-progress research.

Students are encouraged to submit conference proposals in all disciplines of psychology. The proposals can be for completed or in-progress research projects. Students and their mentors, professors, and guests are all welcome to this day-long conference at IUPUC.

Join us as we recognize top student researchers in psychology research, network with successful professionals, exchange ideas with other students and faculty, and learn more about applying to graduate programs.

  • Deadline to submit: October 15, 2018
  • Notification of acceptance: October 22, 2018
  • Early registration deadline: November 5, 2018

Presentation Format

All students are welcome to submit a proposal for an oral and/or a poster presentation. 

Oral presentation

Oral presentations are 20 minutes long including questions. Classrooms will have whiteboards and markers, computer, projector, projection screen, DVD/CD player, sound system, and podium with AV controls and laptop connections. You may bring your own laptop but will need either a VGA or an HDMI port (or adapter). If you have questions about equipment, please contact us. 

Poster presentation

All poster presentations will take place at IUPUC. Posters may be exhibited on paper or foam board. Each presenter is provided with a display board measuring 40”w x 30”h. Presenters must be available to discuss their research during their assigned session.
