Dr. Kevin Jones is an Associate Professor of Management at IUPUC and a human resource development leader who applies organizational development practice and organizational communication theory to deliver results for organizations. He has worked for many years to transform organizations to improve performance and productivity. Dr. Jones has over 25 years of experience in leadership, management, and human resource development roles and seeks to inspire and challenge students to apply the concepts covered in his courses, with a goal of bringing to students “real world” practitioner’sperspective supported by leading-edge research.Dr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University, a Master of Arts from the University of Kansas, and a Doctor of Education from Northern Illinois University. He researches in the fields of Organizational Ethical Cultures and Practices, Romantic Relationships in the Workplace, Teaching and Learning Strategies in Higher Education, Organizational Change Process Enablers and Dysfunctions, and Leadership and Management Competencies Models, Application and Development and has published multiple articles.Dr. Jones was a Mosaic Faculty Fellow and is the recipient of multiple awards.

Julie Goodspeed-Chadwick, Ph.D. – IUPUI Chancellor's Professor of English

Julie Goodspeed-Chadwick, Ph.D., is an IUPUI Chancellor’s Professor of English and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and an Indiana University Bicentennial Professor (2019-2021). She also serves as the founding director of the Office of Student Research at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus. Her publications include two university-press single-authored books with a third that is a forthcoming co-edited scholarly edition and more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters; these publications focus on literature in connection with women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. Her research, teaching, service, and leadership work and efforts combine to empower people, especially underrepresented people, through education. Since arriving at IUPUC in 2008, she has received 16 research, teaching, service, and leadership awards within the IU system, including the Inspirational Woman Leadership Award from IUPUI. She has been invited to give keynote and plenary talks at many institutions, including Indiana University Bloomington, Emory University, and Yale University.

Mark Stewart – President of United Way of Bartholomew County

Mark is president of the United Way of Bartholomew County and has over 25 years of experience in the field of community development and human services. Locally, Mark serves on the Boards of the Heritage Fund, Community Education Coalition, Healthy Communities, and ASAP. Previously, the President of Southeast Neighborhood Development, Mark oversaw the rapid transformation of the Fountain Square neighborhood in Indianapolis. Mark catalyzed robust residential and commercial redevelopment of the distressed neighborhood while successfully balancing the interests of incumbent neighborhood residents and private developers. He served the City of Indianapolis under two Mayors on a number of Blue Ribbon Panels including: abandoned housing, crime, court reform, sustainable neighborhood design, and infrastructure improvements in core neighborhoods. Earlier in his career, as Director of Housing for the South Central Community Action Program, Mark oversaw the rehabilitation of over a thousand units of affordable housing in a four county area. Mark holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

Marsha VanNahmen – Assistant Director, IUPUC Center of Teaching and Learning

Marsha VanNahmen is the Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching & Learning at IUPUC. She is responsible for CTL strategic objectives, partnerships, and programming including leadership of the Gateway Community of Practice. She helps to identify opportunities and prepare external funding requests which benefit IUPUC students, faculty, and our campus. She is co-author of Significant Discussions: A Guide to Secondary and Postsecondary Curriculum Alignment, (funded by the MetLife Foundation) and provided leadership for the Southeast Indiana Postsecondary Regional College Readiness Partnership, an initiative funded by Lumina Foundation. She is a graduate of the IUPUI Next Generation 2.0 program and Leadership Bartholomew County. In 2019, she received the IUPUI Women’s History Month Leadership Award. VanNahmen is active on the IUPUC Diversity Council, United Way’s Community Impact Review Team, and the Latino Education Team. VanNahmen’s professional background includes work in the private sector (human resources and training), at K-12 schools, with career and technical education programs, with community colleges, and community-based organizations.
