What We Do
The primary purpose of the Administration and Finance office is to ensure compliance with University, federal, or sponsoring agency regulations, policies, and procedures, and to safeguard university assets. To ensure funds are budgeted, where appropriate, are spent according to fiscal policy, that expenditures are in alignment with the account and purpose, and that processes and controls are in place. In addition, to provide financial services to campus constituents.
Who We Are
The Administration and Finance office is comprised of several components: Budget Administration, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Travel, Purchasing, Human Resources, Financial Aid, Bursar, Facilities Operations, Campus Police, Café’, Event Planning, and Parking Operations. Additionally, our offices have a direct reporting line to IUPUI.

- Good Stewardship
The Executive Director is responsible for long-term financial and resource planning and analysis, budgetary development, establishing and analyzing financial policy, oversees all administrative areas and includes:
- Financial and administrative operational programs
- Development and monitoring of budgets including
- fiscal responsibility
- determining that the activities in the account confirm to the budget
- Coordination of and planning for capital construction, repairs, and renovations
- Management of leases and contracts
- Space utilization
- Strategic planning to identify trends and opportunities for growth
