Biographical Statement
Bailey Burnett-Schnur graduated from IUPUC in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing and minors in literature and women’s studies. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in English Studies from Ball State University where she had the amazing opportunity to teach rhetoric, research, and writing courses to freshman and sophomores. Bailey developed a specific passion for guiding beginning students through the transition into college and helping them grow into excited, life-long learners. Her interests in education and advising have brought her back to IUPUC as the academic advisor for pre-BSN, traditional track BSN, CHA, and pre-health students within the Division of Health Sciences. Cosmically, Bailey began at IUPUC as a pre-nursing student in 2013, and the first person she spoke to on campus was the academic advisor. She is happy to have now intentionally wandered her way back to serve in that role herself.
