Dr. Lana Watson is a nurse leader and an experienced nursing faculty who specializes in curriculum development, evaluation, standardized testing, and overall student success. Dr. Watson has been a nurse educator since 2008 and has developed courses and taught pharmacology, medical surgical, and critical care nursing course material at all undergraduate levels. She has been an active researcher in student clinical experiences, clinical home placements, preceptoreducation, and rural talent retention. Dr. Watson is an active member of Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives and is a current president elect of South East chapter of the organization. Additionally, she is an advisory board member of Nurse Family Partnership Program, and Eco Clinical team co-chair, and Schneck Medical Center Nurse Residency Program Academic Advisor. Dr. Watson has presented her research at a regional, state, and national level.
