Dr. Lisa Homer serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing and the Director of Assessment and Evaluation for the Division of Health Sciences. She has over 20 years of nursing experience in complex, critical care areas. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Villanova University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Evansville. Dr. Homer’s doctoral focus was on analyzing the relationships between the care environment and nursing-sensitive patient outcomes.
She has over ten years of academic experience in nursing programs. She joined the IUSON in 2015 and transferred to the Columbus campus in 2018.
