Become a Family Nurse Practitioner
The MSN-FNP Program is now accepting applications for Fall 2023.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be prepared to address the health concerns of well, at-risk, and chronically ill individuals and their families. You will learn to provide direct care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Our Program
Rural Focus. Our students graduate uniquely prepared to meet the needs of the people residing throughout the region.
Designed for Professionals. Our hybrid format requires 43 credit hours and 600 clinical hours over a three year period to qualify for graduation. This is a part-time program with two courses per semester to allow nurses to continue working while attaining their MSN degree.

1. Must have a minimum of one year of registered nurse clinical experience and be practicing at time of application.
2. Documentation of at least a bachelor’s degree in nursing (approximately 120 credits), from an accredited program in which a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale was earned.
3. Must have completed all required BSN education courses with a grade of C or higher.
4. Must provide a curricula vitae or resume.
5. Must provide three references, including one from a physician.
6. Personal statement (uploaded to the application)
