Melissa Wilson has lived and worked in Columbus, IN her entire life. She taught second grade at St. Bartholomew School for eleven years. This position allowed her to pursue her love of children, teaching, and growing personally and professionally. While teaching, she obtained her Master’s degree in Education Counseling. Her professional goals then led her into mental health where she worked as a case manager and life skills trainer at Centerstone. While reflecting on her own professional experiences, she realized that working with others to achieve their goals and to help someone reach their full potential is something that she is passionate about. As an Academic Advisor at IUPUC, she assists and collaborates with students so they can reach their goals and achieve success.
