Biographical Statement

I serve as the division head of the IU School of Nursing at IUPUC. I have over 30 years of healthcare experience. I hold a Doctor of Health Administration from Central Michigan University.  My undergraduate degree is a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with a minor in psychology from Indiana University where I graduated with distinction.

I have experience in teaching nursing in LPN, ASN, and BSN programs. In addition to serving as the director for the nursing program at IUPUC, I am the president of SharerVision Healthcare Consulting which I started ten years ago. Prior to starting SharerVision, I served in administrative positions at six hospitals. I have worked in small, large, county owned, religious affiliated, not-for-profit, and for-profit hospitals in central and southern Indiana. Prior to working in administration, I worked in almost every clinical area of nursing.

I was born in Seymour, IN and grew up in Madison, IN. I moved back to Seymour in 1996. I began work at IUPUC in 2009.
