Steps for Business undergraduates who would like to complete an internship for academic credit:

  • Ask your advisor about the internship proposal form that is required from you and your employer/supervisor to describe the work or project you will complete.
  • We will review the form to ensure that the position meets university standards for student internships.
  • You must complete at least 100 hours of work and other academic components for your internship to receive the credit required for graduation.

Search for internships on Handshake

  • Employers are encouraged to create an account in Handshake to post internship positions and browse student resumes. Contact the Office of Career Services for more information and assistance. By using the online system, you’ll gain immediate access to resumes of students already in the system without waiting for students to contact you AND be ready to add future opportunities quickly and easily.
