How much will it cost?
Not much!
While the Schoellkopf Center does not accept insurance or third-party payments, we do not want costs to prevent your receiving services.
Students enrolled at IUPUC, Ivy Tech, and Purdue Polytechnic-Columbus receive most services free of charge. Sessions will be limited based on the availability of appropriately skilled student clinicians. There is a fee for specialized testing materials.
Community members receiving mental health services are charged nominal fees:

A sliding fee scale is available for community members meeting criteria.
Active duty military, their families, and veterans receive services free of charge with appropriate military ID.
Services delivered as part of a research study are free of charge.
If you are interested in participating in free or low-cost counseling you are welcome to request services.
