Public invited to campus Job and Internship Fair

March 22, 2016

Adults seeking employment opportunities in Columbus and surrounding communities are invited to a job and internship fair in the Columbus Learning Center on Wednesday, Mar. 30.

Sponsored by Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus and Ivy Tech Community College, the event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to Carol Kostrzewsky, associate director of career services at IUPUC, over 45 area employers are expected to be represented.

“All of the employers have immediate openings to fill, which may include full-time, part-time, seasonal positions and internships,” Kostrzewsky reported. “The advantage of IUPUC and Ivy Tech co-sponsoring the fair is that it allows employers to recruit current students and alumni with certificates, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees or master’s degrees all at the same event.  We are also pleased to open our fair to the community to better facilitate the employers making connections with area job seekers who will be a good fit for all their hiring needs.”
