Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources at IUPUC coordinates and administers the hiring and compensation for faculty, staff, and student workers.

We follow and adhere to all Indiana University human resource guidelines as well as federal, state, and local regulations.

Our goal is to create and maintain an accessible, confidential employment environment that promotes awareness and understanding among all full-time and part-time personnel.

We aim to provide accurate information and timely service in a courteous manner.

Division Head & Program Director Review Form

Division Heads and Program Directors complete administrative review form each year to note their accomplishments and set goals for the coming year. The 2019 form can be downloaded from the appropriate link below.

Note to Division Heads:

Division Heads should submit the following completed items to Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Lori Montalbano by Monday, February 17, 2020:

  • Narrative evaluations of all full-time faculty prepared by division committees, including updated CVs
  • 2020 Division Head and Program Director Leadership Review Form

All faculty review information submitted to Dr. Montalbano will be forwarded to Vice Chancellor and Dean Dr. Reinhold Hill for review by Monday, February 24, and to Human Resources by Monday, March 2, 2020.

*This timeline is necessary to correspond with the 2020-21 budget construction process.

IUPUC faculty and staff will enjoy nine paid holidays in 2019.

If you are a faculty or exempt professional staff member at IUPUC, you are paid monthly on the last working day of the month with the exception of December, when checks are paid on the first working day in January.

If you are a new employee whose hire date occurs in the first half of the month, you will receive your first paycheck on the last working day of the month of hire. If you are hired after the middle of the month and if payroll has already closed for the current month, you will receive your first paycheck on the last working day of the following month. 

Clerical, technical, service maintenance, hourly, and non-exempt professional staff are paid biweekly. Your first paycheck is usually received within three to four weeks from the start of employment.
