IUPUC has great resources in place to help streamline the annual performance review process. We have three intuitive, easy-to-follow tools, with a set of instructions attached to each.  The 30:30 Communication Conversation Guide and the Priority Conversation Guide are optional tools to encourage open communication year-round.

The Employee Experience Conversation Overview will serve as the annual performance evaluation form encouraged for all full-time employees.  This process is optional for part-time employees, but also encouraged. The conversations are designed to address how employees feel about their job roles, their career, the organization, and overall experience. The staff core competencies are outlined in the attached document. Please be sure to implement and address the core competencies throughout the review process.

For more information or to view these tools online, please visit

Supervisors should review the instructions attached to the Employee Experience Conversation Overview form, schedule meetings with each staff member, and have the form completed and returned to HR by May 29th.

IU Staff Core Competencies

Employee of the Quarter: Sara Williamson

In the last quarter, specifically, Sara committed much of her time to student outreach. For example, she called almost 150 students in the month of May to find out how they were doing in the wake of the new Covid-19 situation, and to determine what IUPUC could do to support them.
