Earth Week is a celebration of our environment. IUPUC participates in Arbor Day activities with tree planting and Earth Day activities by planting flowers at the Transformations Sculpture located at the front of IUPUC in the Reeve's Plaza. Planting flowers reduces the amount of carbon we have in our environment. During the process of photosynthesis, the flowers leaves absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Also, planting flowers can help reduce erosion and flooding by keeping soil in its place.
We will be celebrationg Earth Week again this coming year, stay tuned for flyers and information about activities!
