Professor Stewart has had experience teaching nursing 1 and nursing 3 students at Spalding University in downtown Louisville Kentucky. She has also been involved with teaching junior students at IUPUC. Professor Stewart believes that a well-rounded education in the classroom and at the clinical sites are essential to prepare our future nurses. Hands-on clinical experiences are necessary when making connections to concepts from the lecture setting. Professor Stewart hopes to challenge students and allow them to find their own passion when it comes to the nursing profession. She is honored to be a part of a noble profession and pass her experience on to her students.
