  • “Best Practices in Providing Math Assistance,” Andrea L. Gillett, MS and Crystal  Walcott, PhD. Contributed paper published 2010. My portion of this paper focuses on tutoring centers and providing assistance to students outside of the  classroom. I compared IUPUC to two other regional campuses in the IU system, as well  as to IUPUI. I discussed the tutoring offerings at each campus and the other programs being offered to students in order to help with student success. The differences in each  institutions offerings was significant and financial resources were clearly a factor in the  number of hours and services each was able to provide.
